LinkedIn Is Huge!
Of the 476 million LinkedIn users, 40% of LinkedIn users log in daily. 40% of 476 million is 190 million. That means that 190 million people, worldwide, log into LinkedIn daily.
Here’s what that means…if you reach out to someone, really doesn’t matter who, within just a few weeks they’ll see your InMail or your message. And, there’s a strong likelihood they’ll want to build a relationship with you online—a relationship that might potentially lead to a sale, or more.
Here’s another pregnant statistic. 133 million of LinkedIn users is in the United States. If you sell in the US, or want to sell TO the US, you can get in front of 133 million American business people using LinkedIn. There are only about 350 million Americans. So, these 133 million are going to represent virtually every business person in the US. What a gold mine!
After reading that, you might think that LinkedIn is dominated by the United States. Well…yes and no. LinkedIn is currently available in 24 different languages. Virtually any language spoken in a country you would want to do business in is represented on LinkedIn.
I know this is exciting, and that’s why I wrote this book. Let’s look at LinkedIn in a different way, and we’ll see even more exciting news.
Used right, you really don’t need any other prospecting resource other than LinkedIn. Or, look at it this way. Looking for angel investors? They’re all on LinkedIn. Looking for customers/clients? They’re all on LinkedIn.
All you have to do to leverage this massive resource is learn how to use LinkedIn to reach your target market. Once you do that, the world will be your proverbial oyster, and you’ll never again lack for business or business connections.

LinkedIn Is More Than Just Resumés
LinkedIn was started in 2002. Back in the day it was a repository for online resumés. Wow. Has it ever grown and changed! A lot of business people still think of LinkedIn as just a job resource, a great place to meet future employers and employees. Recruiters are heavy users of LinkedIn. Because of this a lot of people don’t really think of LinkedIn as a place to do business and make sales.
Over the years, though, LinkedIn has grown into the place, par excellence, to prospect for new business. Here’s what is really exciting. If you know how to leverage LinkedIn, you can create an amazing amount of business fast. It doesn’t really matter what you sell, either. You can sell airplanes or t-shirts, medical supplies or resort real estate.
LinkedIn is the place to be to create business, sales, and more revenue for yourself and your company. It’s grown way, way beyond just a place to post resumés and get a job. Done right, LinkedIn might be the only prospecting resource you’ll ever need. Keep reading, because I’m going to break this whole thing down for you.
